This lovely white wine is a blend like those which originated in the Rhone Valley. The blend is classic – featuring Viognier with Roussanne, Marsanne, and a dash of Grenache Blanc. The wine’s beautiful, perfumed aromas highlight pear tart, almond, and Meyer lemon, with a hint of guava, mango, apricot, and a hint of white flower, and hay. When you first taste the wine, the lushness of Viognier is complemented by the silkiness from the Roussanne and an oily richness brought by the Marsanne. The touch of Grenache Blanc punctuates the finish with a lovely acidy and citrus note. The wine reminds one of a walk-through of a summer meadow.
