This Windswept Hill is produced from The best Cabernet Franc and Merlot of the season. The wine is Cabernet Franc dominant followed by Merlot and just a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. Once again, this wine is a superb example of the Right Bank Bordeaux style wine which has become one of the wines that helps define us at Stone Tower. The blend comes together to produce an incredibly well-balanced wine with a rich texture and gorgeous soft tannins. The wine is nothing short of spectacular. On the palate the wine bursts with rich ripe fruit and The incredibly well integrated tannins create a lovely rich lingering finish with a beautiful touch of vanilla. As the wines ages, we will see more of the vanilla and some slightly earthy characteristics. Enjoy this wine now through 2032.
