The 2021 Stone Tower Estate Sauvignon Blanc is much like the 2020 and is similar to those grown and crafted in Bordeaux. The wine is dominated by a nose and palate of stone fruit – apricot and white peach. On the mid palate, there is excitement brought on by a hint of citrus and apple. This wine is 100% Estate grown Sauvignon Blanc picked on August 31, 2021. Pair this lively wine with many foods. Softer briny and sour cheeses like Goat’s milk cheese are exceptional. Seafood is a natural as well. So many find it hard to pair wines with asparagus – grill it and serve it with this wine – out of this world!
