This is our second vintage of Fieldstone, a sophisticated Cabernet Franc dominant wine that bridges the gap between old and new world blends. It’s exceptionally well-crafted with four Bordeaux varietals delivering a glowing ruby color and aromas of ripe and stewed fruits like plum, raspberry, and blueberry. The palate explodes with these flavors, complemented by baking spices and forest floor notes, and finishes long and lovely. This versatile Virginia wine pairs well with beef, lamb, grilled pork, hamburgers, mushroom risotto, or medium sharp Cheddar, Edam, Glouchester, Muenster, or aged Provolone.
