Like many of our Estate Chardonnays, this wine is similar in style to chardonnays from Burgundy, specifically like those produced in the Côte de Beaune, the Southern half of Burgundy’s prestigious Côte d’Or. The bouquet features citrus and freshly-mown grass, and the wine offers depth, complexity, and creaminess on the palate, with a lovely acidity. Apple, orange, and tropical fruit flavors are all heightened by the 9 months of French oak aging. It has everything that it should have: vivacity, brilliance, and intense gold color – and is a perfect expression of our estate’s terroir.
