This wine is deep and lovely, with a juicy mouth feel. On the nose, the wine has aromas of raspberry, bramble, plum, blackberry, and violets. On the palate, we find the continuation of these primary flavors with secondary flavors; a touch of tobacco and black pepper, which last through the gorgeous finish. This cabernet franc is beautifully crafted, and because the fruit was so ripe, it does not display the green pepper or pyrazine found in so many. This wine is so sophisticated and drinks so beautifully it is enjoyable to drink it by itself.
